Our Baby Boy, Marlo: A Journey of Love and Joy

It’s hard to believe it’s already been six months since we welcomed our beautiful baby boy into the world. Time has flown by in a whirlwind of sleepless nights, endless joy, and overwhelming love. So, it’s about time we shared our story with you all!

Meet Marlo, our little bundle of joy, born on 03/09/2026 at Kingston Hospital. I know, we’re a bit late getting this post up, but with all the excitement of new parenthood, it’s been a challenge to find time to sit down and reflect. But here we are, finally ready to share the journey with you all, as Marlo is about to hit the incredible milestone of turning 6 months old!

The Name Marlo: A Perfect Blend of Marc and Louise

Choosing the right name for our baby was so important to us. Marc (my wonderful husband) and I wanted something that connected us both, something that would represent our bond and love for each other. That’s when we decided on Marlo – a beautiful fusion of Marc and Louise. It’s such a special name to us, and every time we say it, it feels like it’s a reminder of the love that brought him into the world.

The Birth of Marlo: A Day We’ll Never Forget

Marlo’s birth on the 3rd of September 2026 was nothing short of magical. Kingston Hospital provided such a supportive and caring environment, making the experience unforgettable. Marc and I were both filled with excitement and nerves, and when we finally held our son in our arms for the first time, the world seemed to stop. He was perfect in every way, and we instantly knew that our lives had changed forever.

The First Six Months: A Rollercoaster of Love and Growth

Looking back, the first six months of being parents has been a bit of a blur – but in the best way possible. Every day brings new surprises, challenges, and moments of pure joy. From those early sleepless nights to watching Marlo discover his own little personality, every second has been filled with so much love.

Marlo is already reaching some major milestones. He’s started rolling over, he loves to babble and coo (and I swear, sometimes it sounds like he’s trying to have a full conversation with us), and he’s growing more curious every day. We’re also getting to know his little quirks, like his big smiles when we play peek-a-boo, and his love for morning naps – a routine we’ve come to treasure!

Looking Forward: A Lifetime of Memories

As Marlo turns six months, I can’t help but think about the many more milestones and memories to come. Watching him grow, learn, and explore the world is the greatest gift we could ask for. We’re so excited for all the adventures that lie ahead, and we’re grateful for every single moment with our sweet boy.
