To My Husband, My Best Friend, My Greatest Adventure

 

Marc,
I don’t know if words will ever do justice to how much I love you, but I’m going to try.

You’re not just my husband—you are my best friend, my rock, my travel partner, and the one who holds my heart. When I look at everything we’ve done together, I realise that we’ve lived a life that most people only dream about.

We’ve seen the northern lights dance across the sky, and watched stratospheric clouds paint the heavens in colours too magical for words. We’ve stood beneath the midnight sun, met a native tribe, and experienced five of the seven wonders of the world—hand in hand.

We’ve stood before a live volcano, hiked through surreal landscapes, wandered ancient cities, and touched things so old, so sacred, that it was almost overwhelming. We’ve admired the world’s greatest art and sculptures, the kind that leaves you breathless—feeling small, humbled, and grateful all at once.

We’ve stayed in some of the most luxurious and magical hotels in the world—from an underwater suite, to one made entirely of ice. We’ve marvelled at a bioluminescent river, and travelled through 46 countries across 6 continents, collecting moments that feel too incredible to be real.

​

We’ve learned to snowboard together, laughing every time we fell—and now we fly down mountains doing tricks and jumps, side by side. We’ve learned to ice climb, pushed through challenges, and somehow always found the joy in the journey. We even got married on top of a mountain, surrounded by the sky, the silence, and our love.

Through every experience—whether we were standing under stars or caught in a snowstorm—I never stopped looking at you and thinking: how did I get so lucky?

​

You’ve taken care of me, believed in me, and brought out the best in me. I’m so proud of you, Marc. Of your heart, your strength, your kindness, and how you always make this wild, beautiful life feel like home.

​

And now, as we get ready to welcome our little one… I honestly cannot wait to have this baby with you. I already know you’re going to be the most incredible dad—just like you’ve been the most incredible husband.

We’ve seen so much—but the greatest view I’ll ever know is the one where you’re by my side.
