Embarking on a journey to Tirana, the capital of Albania, is an opportunity to discover a city rich in history, culture, and unexpected charm. We dined at traditional restaurants, indulging in dishes like byrek (savory pastry), tavë kosi (baked lamb with yogurt), and flia (layered pancake). We also immersed ourselves in the local coffee culture, sipping strong Turkish-style coffee in charming cafes, and sampling the famous Albanian raki, a traditional fruit brandy.
